Frequently Asked Questions

What should be destroyed?
With new laws getting ever stricter and identity theft on the rise it is important to destroy just about everything that is created that you are not required to retain for any amount of time. For example:

Any document with social security or credit card numbers, receipts, memos, letters, price lists, training records, tax records, visitor logs, etc.

For one-time purge jobs can we keep the banker boxes?
We are happy to give you your boxes back once we dump the contents out into our containers/shredder on the truck if you would like them back.
What do you charge for service?
Our pricing is determined by if you choose on-site or off-site shredding, location, volume of material for destruction, and frequency of service.
What other type of material do you destroy in addition to paper?
For some of our clients we destroy C.D.s, videos, tapes, xrays and hard drives.
Should we remove paper clips, fasteners, staples, or binders?
Please don’t waste your time removing these things from your shredding. Our shredder is built to handle them and you do NOT need to remove them.
Can you send someone out to our place of business to make recommendations on getting started with a destruction program?
We will be very happy to send someone to your place of business to give you suggestions on types of containers that would be best for you , where to place these containers and at what frequency they should be serviced.
